By Mr. Rubangakene Kenneth, Coordinator IYONS  Africa, http://web.iyons.com/iyons-africa-2/

     IYONS - International NGO’s Summit 2015 is one of the great step Change improvements in me as an Emerging Leader in Africa. I am so thankful to my key Mentors, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (President of the Republic of Uganda), Teams at United Nations Human rights in Geneva Switzerland, Ms Ida Nganga (AU Youth Working Group Communications Officer), Mr. Okello Denis Godwin (Chairman Board of Directors-ESHO), Arch Bishop of Gulu Arch Diocese-His Grace John Baptist Odama, Arch Bishop Onesporo Ludolo of Choosen Evanzilical Revival and Rev.Sr.Angelina Akello for their courageous words and inspirations.

 IYONS was born in me when I met Mr. Ansari Thamim, Head of International/National Delegation Coordination Committee in March 10th 2015. I am so grateful for him because he is among the top scholars and expertise in Youth Development world wide, and above all,  he is an Executive Member at You Think Foundation which comprised of renown scholars in Asian Region.

                  Mr. Ansari Thamim love peace and oneness of all youths Globally; with this love for others, he shared with me a lot about the need to bring all youths at one place and time: Why??

“Because;

  • There is great extinction of human species especially the world drivers which are the-YOUTHS.
  • There is a high unique sensation of freedom, peace and happiness which has become a new basic need of human life.
  • Furthermore, there is retardation in development of other parts of the world like Africa and continuous wars among the Islamic States.
  • Conclusively, The Youths are always forced to stand and support or address societal problems for example, take a look at Brutal Delhi Gange Rape of 2012,Malala-a young woman who stood against Taliban and Wangari Maathai in 1970 against rivals in Kenya Highland”

:-----------With these elaborations, we believe that IYONS shall be the last stop to attain world Peace because Youths shall blast all the locked doors of happiness. In addition, the global population of young people is high which hits up to 1.8 billion and 9 out of 10 of world young people reside in less developed countries. Therefore, if this youth population gets into an International Assembly with minimum support, we can unlock the potentials of the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, change agents and leaders. Globalization will be the key factor to develop the future generations”.

                     What IYONS shall entails!

                     This great gathering shall witness the presence of top Youth NGO Leaders around the world to represent their countries and continents. Be aware of the issues of developed, under developed nations and Look for the solutions. 120+ Countries shall attend this great event and will be hosted by India for 72 hours continuously so that all the Youths get opportunities to speak out. Entertainment shows, visit to nearby village, rally, workshop, marathons, prize winning and Awards shall be the order of the Day, and also, putting in mind that, the intention of this Summit is to “Inspire youths to work towards world peace

 When he finished sharing this great vision, I was asked to share this IYONS Global Opportunity with the Inspiring African Youth Leaders through the strong chain link of Educational Support and Health Organization http://www.esho-uganda.com and African Union Youth Working Group and other African Youth Networks. I had no doubt in him because I am also National Coordinator of Green Youth Generation India.

                    And, for effective and efficient mobilization of Africa Youths, IYONS Africa Program (Network) was Initiated headed by a Coordinator. I am happy that I was the first Global Coordinator to be announced on 13th March 2015 at IYONS Global Board Meeting profiled http://web.iyons.com/iyons-africa-2/ .

I am also happy for the tremendous progress in IYONS Africa Coordination. With effective coordination, Africans participated in the first IYONS Prevent of “Salute the Mother Earth” in April 4th 2015, attended all meetings and selected their own Delegation for 2015 Summit from all sectors of education, health, entrepreneurship, Governance, wildlife conservation, peace and prosperity. Africans also appeared in first IYONS 2015 Brochure with Ms. Maria Difallah being the first African Delegate from Algeria.

             In conclusion, I am 100% sure that IYONS is taking shape in Africa and the whole world. With this, I am glad to say, Africa will present 54 Top Emerging Youth Leaders at the Summit in July 24th-26th 2015 in Chennai India. The Key Stars are: Ms. Maria Diffallah (Algeria), Mr. Nelson Akerele (Nigeria), Mr.Keter Brian(Kenya), Mr. Indooshan Shanthakumaran (Sri Lanka), Mr.Philani Hlophe Dhlamini(Zimbabwe), Mr.Amb Paul Langar(Sierra Leone), Mr.Doukoure Serge(Cote D’Ivore), Mr.Dehkontee Cuppah(Botswana), Ms.Agnes Mgongo(Tanzania), Ms.Julien Nkolo Reteno(Gabon),Mr.Amb Moses Busher(Malawi)and Mr.Jarius Andrew Greaves(Liberia) and many others waiting to rock at IYONS 2015.
