Chapter Five

                                              

n his arrival, he saw a lady’s wear outside the door but he was un concerned about it. When he was about to sit, he asked, “Who is this?” I answered; Floret is the one who has come. She was hiding herself behind the curtain pretending that she was tired and so need rest. During that time things were not at ease with my brother, he grow thin and weightless but I said, we have nothing to do please, have a seat and change the dress,  he called me out for a talk and said, “ what should we do since this lady has come?”. The sun was almost down.

Mummy, have you seen how people’s daughters are very think less and valueless. How can you force yourself into somebody’s house and refused to go? Dear ladies have an intelligent mind, do not force yourself otherwise you are putting your fingers into a hot fire.

   Next story came in the morning when the lady was accompanied by the brother of the boy to his father’s place anext that area. The brother didn’t reach the father’s place because it will be very shameful and unfit since he is very young too. What he did was to put the lady on a Bodaboda motorcycle rider to take her home. They arrived safely but what was left was how to reach home since she has spent now two days out since she left the village.

Do you know what she did? Eaaaa. She hired an old man to take her home pretending that she has been lost and doesn’t know where the home is. My dear in real sense, how can you get lost of your own father’s home? This is foolishness and ignorant on the other side.

The old man did not refuse the bribe from the lady; he took the lady up to the father’s home and explains to the father that her daughter has mental problems. So, she couldn’t recognise easily the home so I have decided to bring her home. The father replied, “That is a good decision you took, may God bless you”. The old man left for town that day.

One day expired, thereafter, the father questioned her daughter about the people in the village and how they are doing. As they were ending their conversation, the father received a phone call saying that, the girl was not lost but, she went to her boy friend within the town for two days. She left the village very early and travelled with a certain man to town. The father couldn’t belief that her own daughter could do such kind of silly thing before him and the clan as well.  After realising the message received through the phone are true, the father was anguish and wanted to beat the girl seriously but, the neighbours said, “ please don’t beat her, she is your daughter send her back where she was for two days before she came” he listened to their voice said, my daughter please, pack whatever you came with and go back to your boy friend because you want to have a home. The daughter was chased and she was in a doom.......
